Lanark County has amalgamated all waitlists from participating Canada-wide Early Learning Child Care Centres, including Mississippi Mills Childcare Services (MCSS).
The Municipalities of Beckwith, Carleton Place, Drummond/North Elmsley, Lanark Highlands, Mississippi Mills, Montague, Perth, Smiths Falls, and Tay Valley are currently seeking interested applicants for appointment to the Joint Lanark County 2026 Election Compliance Audit Committee.
Reduced load restrictions of five tonnes per axle will be in force on all municipal roads effective Monday, March 2, 2026, until further notice.
Beginning in June 2026, a $2 paper billing fee will apply to residents who choose to receive their property tax bills by mail. This change aligns with the introduction of the $2 fee for water billing.
