The Canadian Cancer Society’s Wheels of Hope program is looking for more volunteer drivers to help residents in Mississippi Mills.

Held each October, the Lanark County Female First Responders Camp is a two-day, hands-on experience for self-identifying females aged 15 to 21 living in Lanark County. From August 1 to September 4, 2026, Sivarulrasa Gallery and Puppets Up! are delighted to present Noreen Young: Drawings & Illustrations, an exhibition of early works on paper by artist Noreen Young (b. 1939, Ottawa, Ontario; d. 2025). The exhibition complements the 2026 Puppets Up! festival, which takes place August 8-9 in Almonte, Ontario.
