The Lanark County Plowing Match is around the corner!

Raise a glass to summer as the Almonte Craft Beer Fest returns to the beautiful grounds of Almonte Old Town Hall (14 Bridge Street) on Friday, July 24, for an evening of local craft beverages, live music, great food and stunning riverside views.

Two new exhibitions are coming to the Mississippi Valley Textile Museum in August! Attend the vernissage for “Unfinished Journey: Memory, Identity, & Family” by Anne Kelly and “Queer Newfoundland Hockey League” by Lucas Morneau on Saturday, August 8 at 1 p.m. Both exhibitions will be on display until September 20, 2026.

John Jordan, MPP for Lanark-Frontenac-Kingston, announced today that the Ontario government is providing 7 non-profit organizations and municipalities in the riding with $658,500 in funding this year through the Ontario Trillium Foundation’s (OTF) Capital grant stream.
