The Municipality of Mississippi Mills will be flushing watermains throughout Almonte Ward from September 14 to October 30, 2026, between 7:30 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday to Friday.

The Mississippi Mills Municipal Office will be closed Monday, September 7 for Labour Day.

The Municipality will be carrying out geotechnical investigation work from August 31 to September 4 as part of planning for the Northern Watermain Crossing Project.

Please be advised of a planned service interruption affecting Southeast Public Health (SEPH) communications this weekend specifically in the Leeds, Grenville, and Lanark areas.

Construction work will take place at the Weaver’s Way subdivision site Saturday, August 29 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The Municipality of Mississippi Mills has been notified by Westview Homes Inc, the developer of the Hilan Village subdivision, that blasting operations on the site at Carss Street are anticipated to begin the week of September 2.  

A planned outage will take place in Almonte on September 2, 2026 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Municipality will be undertaking tree removal operations at the end of Carss Street on Wednesday, August 26. 

Lanark County has advised the Municipality that access to the Five -Span Bridge Park will be temporarily closed on Wednesday, September 2.

Westview Homes is undertaking construction works at Hilan Village on Carss Street in Almonte. This notice is to advise that work will take place on Saturday, August 29 between the honours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
