Public Notice – Storm Sewer Survey Work in Almonte Ward – November 5-6, 2026

The Municipality of Mississippi Mills would like to advise residents that storm sewer survey work will take place in Almonte Ward by Ainley Group this Thursday, November 5 and Friday, November 6.

The surveys will be conducted by Ainley Group between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. and will focus on the following areas:

• Ottawa Street
• Bridge Street
• Main Street
• Almonte Street

Traffic impacts

Motorists should expect minor traffic disruptions while work is underway. In most locations, one lane of traffic will remain open while the other is temporarily closed to allow survey crews to safely access storm sewers.

Traffic control and signage will be in place to direct vehicles and pedestrians through the work areas. Drivers are asked to proceed with caution and follow all posted signage and directions from flaggers.
