Mississippi Mills – Mayor Christa Lowry has joined nearly 1,000 participants from across the province at the 2022 Rural Ontario Municipal Association (ROMA) Conference. This is the second time the conference will be held entirely online from Monday, January 24 to Tuesday, January 25.
Water bills for November & December 2021 have been delayed due to unforeseen circumstances. They will be processed as soon and possible and an update will be provided once they have been mailed.
The next regular scheduled Council and Committee of the Whole meetings will be held on Tuesday, January 25th, 2022 at 6:00pm. .
Lanark County is currently developing a Strategy to identify municipal tools to support the development of housing which is affordable to Lanark County residents with low and moderate incomes. SHS Consulting and WSP have been retained to prepare the Strategy in coordination with the County.

Highlights of the January 11, 2022, Council Meeting. Last night, Mississippi Mills Council held their first meeting of 2022.
The next regular scheduled Council and Committee of the Whole meetings will be held on Tuesday, January 11th, 2022 at 6:00pm. .
January 5, 2022. Mississippi Mills has received approval to offer emergency childcare effective Jan 10, 2022.
Municipal Closures. As a result of recent Provincial government shutdown announcements, the municipality has a number of closures and capacity reductions.
