Winter’s freeze-thaw cycle and our rainy spring have taken a toll on local roads. We know conditions aren’t ideal right now.

Sections of Ottawa Valley Recreational Trail (OVRT) will be under rolling closures for approximately two weeks beginning Tuesday, April 7, 2026 from Ramsay Concession 8 to Smart Street to permit trail maintenance and brushing. 

A Flood Outlook Statement is to provide early notice of the potential for flooding based on weather forecasts calling for heavy rain, snowmelt, high wind or other conditions that could lead to high runoff, cause ice jams, lakeshore flooding or erosion.

Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for freezing rain and rain expected on Tuesday, March 31.
