Great progress is being made on the future home of Mississippi Mills Childcare Services on Menzie Street!

Mississippi Mills staff members had the chance to tour the site last week, getting a close look at the work being done by Chandos Construction.

Current work underway:

  • Interior finishes are being installed
  • Exterior siding and building envelope work are progressing
  • Civil and landscaping work will begin as spring conditions allow

Once finished, this $10.5M, 13,000-square-foot centre will double our current childcare capacity, offering 151 Canada‑wide Early Learning and Child Care spaces. Families can look forward to bright play areas, expanded learning spaces, a commercial kitchen, staff offices, and a beautiful nature‑based play yard.

The project remains on schedule and is expected to open this September.
