Environment Canada has upgraded their special weather statement to an orange freezing rain warning, meaning severe weather is likely to cause significant damage and widespread impacts.

Environment Canada issued a special weather statement on March 9 for the potential of significant freezing rain this week.

Environment Canada has issued a yellow (moderate) rainfall warning for the region beginning this evening and ending Saturday evening.

A public hearing will be held virtually via Zoom on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at 4:30 p.m. to consider a proposed minor variance application under Section 45 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter P.13.
