Mississippi Valley Conservation Authority (MVCA) is pleased to announce that a proposal from the Municipality of Mississippi Mills to assume operation of the Museum at the Mill of Kintail Conservation Area has been accepted. Transfer of the R. Tait McKenzie and James Naismith collections and museum operations are planned to occur in 2028.

A public meeting will be held virtually via YouTube on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at 4:30 p.m. to consider a proposed Minor Variance application under Section 45 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter P.13.

From August 1 to September 4, 2026, Sivarulrasa Gallery and Puppets Up! are delighted to present Noreen Young: Drawings & Illustrations, an exhibition of early works on paper by artist Noreen Young (b. 1939, Ottawa, Ontario; d. 2025).
