Marked annually in Canada on April 28, the National Day of Mourning is dedicated to remembering those who have lost their lives, suffered injury or illness on the job, or experienced a work-related tragedy. Mississippi Mills Fire Department (MMFD) has introduced Mississippi Mills Community Connect, a platform designed to increase emergency preparedness and response. Community Connect is a free, secure and easy to use portal that allows residents and business owners to voluntarily share critical information with MMFD that will assist emergency responders in the event of an emergency.
