Reminder: Fall Watermain Flushing Now Underway in Almonte Ward

The Municipality of Mississippi Mills began flushing the water mains in all areas of Almonte Ward on Monday, September 18, 2023 and this work will continue until Tuesday, October 31, 2023, during the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. (excluding weekends).

A Special Council Meeting on the 2024 Budget will be held on Tuesday, September 25, 2023.
The meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m., and includes a presentation of survey results and tabling of the draft operating and capital budget for 2024.

September 24, 2023 is Police and Peace Officers' National Memorial Day

In 1998, the Government of Canada officially proclaimed the last Sunday in September of every year as Police and Peace Officers' National Memorial Day.
Flags at all municipal locations will be lowered to half mast on this day, Sunday, September 24, to commemorate Police and Peace Officers' National Memorial Day and to remember the brave men and women who have sacrificed their lives in the line of duty.
