Almonte Celtfest is on the Lookout for New Board and Committee Members

Are you looking for a new way to get involved in your community? Do you have time and talents to bring to planning a festival? Do you enjoy meeting new people and trying new things?

Come to the Almonte Celtfest Annual General Meeting on September 29 to learn what roles need filling and how your skills and experience can help make next summer’s edition of Celtfest a great one! Helping out behind the scenes doesn't have to be a big commitment either; there are several vacancies on the board and planning committees with a range of time requirements. There’s something for everyone and many hands make light work!

Almonte Celtfest celebrated its 30th edition this past summer and it was all thanks to volunteers and community support. That being said, the festival is only possible with enough people to plan it. Although the festival is in good financial standing and 2026 was successful on all fronts, Celtfest now finds itself without enough volunteer Board members to continue into 2027. The current board has served for upwards of 10 years and it has come time for some members to move on to other things. Vacant positions on the Board include Volunteer Coordinator, Vendor Coordinator, Site, Financial and Board Chair positions and more.
