Lanark Transportation’s popular Ride the LT program has now officially expanded to Mississippi Mills. The community bus service launched in the community back in August, but the Municipality and Lanark Transportation recently cut the ribbon to celebrate the partnership.

Mississippi Mills Council proclaimed September as Big Brothers Big Sisters Month in the Municipality at their September 10 meeting. In addition, September 18 was declared Big Brothers Big Sisters Day and along with this proclamation, Almonte Old Town Hall and the falls will be lit in teal for the week of September 15-20.
