    Voting Opens for 2022 Municipal Election. Today marks the start of the 2022 Municipal Election voting period - advance voting will open at 10:00 am.

  • Voter Help Centres Open Monday, October 17th

    Please be advised that Voter Letters have been mailed. If you have not received one or if you have any concerns, please visit a Voter Help Centre starting on Monday, October 17th at 10am.

  • Apply for a Mississippi Mills Municipal Grant!

    The Municipality of Mississippi Mills recognizes that contributions made by community organizations and volunteer groups improve the well-being of the community and the quality of life for its residents. In recognition of these contributions, the Municipality is committed to providing modest assistance to such organizations through its municipal grant program.

  • Surveying Work on Union Street in Almonte

    Public Works is working with Parsons Engineering to complete design work on Union Street North between Main Street and Carss Street. This includes taking measurements and testing the soils in and around Union Street North.

  • Thanksgiving Day Office Closure

    Please note that our Municipal Office will be closed for Thanksgiving Day on Monday, October 10th, 2022. We will reopen on Tuesday, October 11th, 2022 at 8:30 am.

  • Septic Approvals in the Municipality of Mississippi Mills

    Starting October 1, 2022, the Mississippi Valley and Rideau Valley Conservation Authorities are working together to provide septic approval services to additional municipalities in the local area, including the Municipality of Mississippi Mills. Formerly serviced by the Leeds, Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit, several municipalities have now turned to their conservation authorities to provide this service.
