At last night’s Council meeting, Childcare Services Director Anita Legault gave a presentation with respect to the 50th anniversary of Mississippi Mills Childcare Services (formerly Almonte Daycare Centre). A point of interest was the cost of daycare in 1972: Full day fee $3. 00 (with meal), half day $2. 00 (with meal), half day $1. 50 (no meal), $3. 00 first child and $2. 00 additional child.
Please note that our municipal office will be closed on Monday, September 5th, 2022 for Labour Day. We will reopen on Tuesday, September 6th, 2022 at 8:30 am.
