Press Release - North Lanark Historical Society. As we celebrate the Bicentennial of Mississippi Mills, the North Lanark Historical Society invites you to come back in time to our PIONEER DAY.
The Almonte Lawn Bowling Club is hosting an open house on Saturday, May 27th from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. .
Presentation and book launch – FREE EVENT – with David Johnston. Sunday, May 28 at 1pm, Almonte Old Town Hall.
Council and Committee of the Whole will hold their regular meetings on Tuesday, May 9th, 2023. Regular session is scheduled to start at 6:00 pm, followed by Committee of the Whole.

Council and Committee of the Whole will hold their regular meetings on Tuesday, April 25th, 2023. .
A Special Committee of the Whole meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 19th, 2023 beginning at 4:00 pm. It will be held at the Almonte Branch of the Mississippi Mills Public Library ( 155 High Street, Almonte).
Mississippi Mills is undertaking a large project called MM2048 that involves virtually every service and department. We’re looking at everything from roads to childcare to water and wastewater to recreation to festivals and events to economic development to quality of life and everything in between, all at the same time.
