May 2, 2023 — This FLOOD WARNING statement is an update to the Flood Warning issued for areas along the Lower Ottawa River (Arnprior to Hawkesbury) on April 28th, 2023. Water levels are expected to rise again within the Ottawa River Basin due to significant rainfall received over the past few days.

The Municipality of Mississippi Mills holds an annual Exchange Day during the first weekend of May each year. This is a day where residents of Mississippi Mills can put items out at the curb they no longer want, and others can take the "treasurers".
