Five Arches Bridge closure slated for Aug. 10 and 11
Lanark County has retained WSP for Engineering services to conduct a detailed enhanced investigation of the historic Five Arches Bridge in Pakenham and to complete the detail design of the selected rehabilitation strategy.
As part of the enhanced investigation, a full bridge closure will be required to accommodate a bridge deck condition survey on Aug. 10 and 11, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.

It is with sadness that I share the passing of Gavin Donnelly. Gavin had been an employee of Mississippi Mills since 2008 as Events Assistant & Facility Maintenance at Almonte Old Town Hall. His genuine care and concern for the municipality, the facility and the organizations who use the venue were clear to everyone he dealt with.
