Please be advised, Thomas Cavanagh Construction Ltd. (TTCL) is scheduled to commence paving of the High St. parking lot on May 9th , 2023.
During this work, parking availability and access to vehicle/pedestrian traffic will be restricted for the day as crews are paving.

Mississippi Mills Council recently proclaimed May 5, 2023, as World Pulmonary Hypertension Day.
Pulmonary Hypertension (PH) is a rare but very complex and serious lung disease, which is progressive and potentially fatal. PH is defined by high blood pressure in the lungs, which leads to enlargement and weakness of the right side of the heart – a serious type of heart failure. The Corporation of the Municipality of Mississippi Mills will be flushing the water mains in all areas of Almonte Ward beginning Monday, May 15, 2023, to Friday, June 30, 2023.

May 2, 2023 — This FLOOD WARNING statement is an update to the Flood Warning issued for areas along the Lower Ottawa River (Arnprior to Hawkesbury) on April 28th, 2023.
Water levels are expected to rise again within the Ottawa River Basin due to significant rainfall received over the past few days. Runoff from this rain event will bring additional water volumes to the Ottawa River at a time when levels are already near major flood thresholds.
