In Mississippi Mills, police services are provided through the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP).
The Mississippi Mills Fire Department provides our Fire Services. The department consists of 48 highly trained volunteer firefighters. Administration consists of a Fire Chief, Deputy Chief and an Administration Assistant to the Fire Chief.
Mississippi Mills has two fire stations:

Family Health Teams (FHTs) bring together a variety of health care providers to coordinate the highest possible quality of care for patients. Since 2005, the Ontario government has approved 200 FHTs across the province. FHTs differ in size, location, number of sites, number of health care providers and the programs and services provided.
