Paying Your Water Bill

Water accounts are billed every two months.  Paperless email water billing is available by completing the online form:

Payment options

• Pre-authorized payment plan – complete pre-authorized water payment plan form and submit as indicated.  Payments will be withdrawn automatically from your bank account on the due date.

• Internet banking or Telebanking through your online banking account – search keyword is “Mississippi Mills”, choose “Mississippi Mills (TWN) – Water” and use the first six numbers of your water account as the account number.

• Bank – available at most banks

• In Person by cash, debit or cheque at the municipal office during regular business hours

• After-hours drop box located at the rear of the municipal office building

• Post-dated cheques

• By mail

Buying or selling a home in Mississippi Mills?

Please contact the Tax/Water Clerk at 613-256-2064 ext. 303 to provide the address and closing date of the sale so a water meter reading can be scheduled for that date.  Sellers will need to provide a forwarding address for a final water bill.  Lawyers are asked to forward a copy of the Registered Transfer when the sale closes to provide the information the municipality needs to transfer both tax and water accounts to the new owners.
