For $2 round trip, Lanark Transportation will take you on alternating Thursday trips from your doorstep to errand routes in Almonte and Carleton Place.

No car? No worries! Mississippi Mills residents can now complete their weekly shopping trips with the Ride the Mississippi Mills LT Thursday shuttle. Simply call 1-877-455-5777 (toll-free) or 613-264-8256 by Wednesday at 10 a.m., and arrange to either have yourself picked up from your home or the Mississippi Mills Public Library, Almonte Branch.

The shuttle alternates between its Almonte route and Carleton Place route depending on the week.

About the Ride the LT program
Ride the LT is a safe, easy and affordable shuttle program administered by the Lanark Transportation Association, funded by Lanark County and other government grants. The program is active in Carleton Place, Lanark, Perth, Smiths Falls, and now Mississippi Mills.

Yes! The service is available to all residents of Mississippi Mills. Residents have two ways of taking the shuttle:

Lanark Transportation — a not-for-profit association — collects fares to offset the cost of providing the service, such as gas and maintenance of its fleet. Your fare is kept low and affordable by subsidizing the cost through government grants, donations, and contributions from the Provincial Gas Tax. |
