The Friends of Mississippi Mills Public Library is hosting a book sale from October 21st to October 23rd, 2022.
Hours:
Friday, October 21st: 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Saturday, October 22nd: 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
Sunday, October 23rd: 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Location:
430 Ottawa Street - Vacant end unit beside Pet Value
Proceeds go towards expanding the Mississippi Mills Public Library’s large print collection – thank you!

Please be advised that in tonight's Daily Digest, the Bicentennial Celebration Committee message was included in error. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused.
Over the last several months, the Bicentennial Working Groups have been developing events, programs and plans to celebrate and mark the importance of the Mississippi Mills Bicentennial in 2023.
There are a lot of exciting things in the works - coming soon will be the first of many announcements - stay tuned!

Please be advised that Main Street between Union and Coleman Streets in Almonte will be under construction from October 24th to November 11th in order to facilitate watermain and stormwater construction. Traffic controllers will maintain two way traffic during constructions and the roadway will be reinstated each night. For more information, contact Technologist Luke Harrington.

Voting Opens for 2022 Municipal Election
Today marks the start of the 2022 Municipal Election voting period - advance voting will open at 10:00 am. Voter Information Letters have been mailed and contain a personalized PIN which will allow electors to vote 24 hours a day for eight days from a telephone or any device connected to the internet (i.e. cellphone, tablet, computer).
