The Riverwalk will be between closed for maintenance between Almonte Old Town Hall and the Barley Mow from Tuesday, May 23, 2023 to Thursday to May 25, 2023  between the hours of 7:00 am - 6:00 pm.

Council and Committee of the Whole will hold their regular meetings on Tuesday, May 23rd, 2023.

Regular session is scheduled to start at 6:00 pm, followed by Committee of the Whole.

Water levels have peaked but are expected to remain high

May 16, 2023 MISSISSIPPI AND CARP RIVER WATERSHEDS— The FLOOD WARNING issued by the Mississippi Valley Conservation Authority (MVCA) on May 3rd remains in effect.

The dry weather over the last week has resulted in all areas of the watershed peaking and lakes and watercourses are observed to decline.

Lane Reductions at Almonte Old Town Hall

Please be advised that the parking lot entrance to the Almonte Old Town Hall will be reduced to one lane tomorrow (May 16th) due to construction related activities. Flagstaff will be present to direct traffic through the construction area and into the parking lot. 

If you plan to visit AOTH tomorrow, it's advised you enter south from Bridge Street (to make a right hand turn into the parking lot) 

When leaving the parking lot, please turn left over the bridge.
