Water Bills for period ending June 30, 2021

Water bills for the period May 1 - June 30, 2021 were emailed today, July 6, 2021 to property owners who enrolled for paperless billing.  The remaining bills will be mailed out on Thursday, July 8, 2021.  Payment is due on August 12, 2021.  If you have questions about your water bill or your account please contact the Tax/Water Clerk at 613-256-2064 ext 224.

MISSISSIPPI MILLS OFF-LEASH DOG PARK SURVEY

The Municipality is seeking public input, from Mississippi Mills Residents, about creating an off-leash dog park. This is not only a survey for dog owners who want a dog park. We also want to hear from residents who have concerns.  We are looking for a solution that will address the needs of all Mississippi Mills residents. And for that, we need as many people as possible to participate in our survey.

Fireworks Safety Reminder

The Mississippi Mills Fire Department is reminding residents who choose to use fireworks to know the rules and ensure safety precautions are taken.  Fireworks must be used on personal property and no permit or notification to the fire department is required.

Scam Fundraising Calls on Behalf of the Fire Department

The Mississippi Mills Fire Department (MMFD) is warning residents about a phone scam where callers claim they are from the local fire department and are collecting donations on behalf of the fire department.   We would like to confirm that MMFD does not solicit donations by phone or have third parties’ campaigning on our behalf.  

When receiving calls from someone, please hang up as this is a scam.  If you have provided funds, please contact the Ontario Provincial Police.
