Council and Committee of Whole - April 19 2022

Council and Committee of the Whole will hold their regular meetings on Tuesday, April 19th. Council will begin with a closed session and will return to open session at 6:00 pm. The Committee of the Whole meeting will begin immediately following Council. Agendas for the meetings can be found here.

As we re-open Council Chambers to members of the public, we have a limit of 20 in the viewing gallery, which will be filled on a first come first serve basis. Preregistration is no longer required.

 On behalf of the Municipality of Mississippi Mills, I would like to thank Acting Chief Williams and the Mississippi Mills Fire Department for their professionalresponse to a major fire in Pakenham. 

The MMFD responded to a structure fire in the Village of Pakenham at 10pm last night.   Due to unsafe conditions, the structure had to be torn down to extinguish the fire. By 7:00 am this morning, the fire was out.  All responders, the public and adjacent buildings were kept safe.
