Highlights of the September 20th, 2022 Council Meeting
At last night’s meeting, Council heard from John Naas of Blackline Consulting with respect to the creation of a Digital Master Plan for the municipality. The purpose of this digital strategy is to modernize and streamline services, processes and communications. As a next step, staff will bring forward a report to Council for consideration on the implementation plan for the 10 strategic initiatives that were identified in the plan.

It is with sadness we have learned of the passing of Orm Giles, elder statesman and respected gentleman.
Orm’s commitment to his community and to its residents was unmatched. He was an elected official for the Town of Carleton Place for well over 30 years and was also Lanark County’s Warden in 1995. His volunteerism and community service spanned seven decades and is an incredible example of dedication to public service.
