Almonte Civitan to Host Community Luncheons

As part of Mississippi Mills Bicentennial celebrations, the Almonte Civitan Club is pleased to be hosting community luncheons as a way to bring people together in a comfortable, welcoming space.
The luncheons will take place on the first Thursday of each month, with the first one scheduled for Thursday, March 2nd. For $17 per person, you can enjoy turkey pot pie, salad, a bun, cake and tea and coffee. The cake is sponsored by the Municipality of Mississippi Mills and made by Baker Bob’s.

Regular session is scheduled to start at 5:30 pm, followed by Committee of the Whole at 7:00 pm.

2023 Interim Property Tax Bills

Please be advised that your 2023 interim property tax bill has been mailed and is due by March 10th. If you signed up for e-billing and have not received your tax bill, please check your junk mail. You can sign up here to receive your tax bill electronically.
The interim bill is approximately 40% of the annual tax bill. Interim taxes are calculated using last year’s tax rate multiplied by the current year’s property assessment.
