Tuesday night’s Council meeting began by recognizing two board members of the Mississippi River Power Corporation (MRPC) Mr. Paul Virgin and Mr. Garry Dalgity, who’s terms have recently ended. On Friday Feb 12 2021, Premier Ford announced Ontario Returning 27 Public Health Regions to Strengthened COVID-19 Response Framework.

Lanark Leeds and Grenville District Health Unit, which includes Mississippi Mills, has been moved back to the Green-Prevent Framework to start today, Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at 12:01 a.m. which means we are no longer subject to the Stay-at-Home order.

Our thoughts are with his wife Donna Sweeney and family Christa (Mayor Lowry), Julie, Brad (Lindsay Cavanagh) and Leanna.
