It is with sadness that I share that former Reeve of Pakenham Charles (Charlie) Gillan died last night at age 95.  Mr. Gillan proudly served as Warden of Lanark County in 1982 and is remembered as a great and fair Reeve for the former Township of Pakenham and as a strong and vocal County Warden.

The Municipality of Mississippi Mills will soon begin work towards the development of phase 3 of the Mississippi Mills Business Park. The work involved includes the installation of a new 350 meter section of roadway with full municipal services. Expanding our Business Park will allow businesses to build or expand in our Municipality resulting eventually in additional job opportunities close to home.
