Health Unit - Leeds, Grenville and Lanark Region Moved to Yellow - Protect Level

Today the government of Ontario announced that the Leeds, Grenville and Lanark region will move from the Green–Prevent level to the Yellow – Protect level of the Keeping Ontario Safe and Open COVID-19 Framework. The sharp rise in COVID-19 cases in the region over the past two weeks means that the region is on the border between yellow and orange zones.

Earlier this week, the Government of Canada announced the designation of March 11, 2021, as National Day of Observance for COVID-19.

Water bills for the period January 1 - February 28, 2021 were emailed to paperless billing accounts on March 9th and the rest went out in the mail March 10th. The due date is April 14, 2021.

The Almonte Library will now be accepting Water Sample Drop Offs

The Mississippi Mills Public Library has established protocols in place for safe curbside pick up. With this in mind they have generously offered to take over as a drop off location for well water testing samples for Mississippi Mills residents. Effective Tuesday March 9th the water fridge and bottles for well water samples will be located in the front foyer of the Almonte Library Branch, located at 155 High Street, Almonte.
