Prime Agricultural Area Designation Review

The purpose of the Community Official Plan (COP) Amendment is to determine Prime Agricultural Areas; areas where prime agricultural lands predominate. The municipality will be using a Land Evaluation and Area Review (LEAR) approach, as approved by the Province, to determine Prime Agricultural Areas.

When:Tuesday April 28, 2021 at 6:30 P.M. via ZOOM MEETING
Purpose: The purpose of the Virtual Information Session is to provide information and gather feedback from the public on the proposed Official Plan Amendment 29 (OPA 29) regarding the Prime Agricultural Area Designation Review. The meeting will consist of  a 30 minute presentation by JLRichards followed by  a question and answer session for the public.

Public Meeting (written comments)
Opportunity for you to share your viewpoint with Council
When:Tuesday May 4, 2021 at 6:00 p.m.
Purpose: This is a statutory public meeting for the purpose of giving the public an opportunity to make representation regarding the proposed OPA 29 by-law amendment for the Prime Agricultural Area Designation Review.
Registration: Due to COVID-19 restrictions there will be no in-person participation at the meeting, however those interested in speaking at the virtual Public Meeting can register with mrivet@jlrichards.ca by May April 30, 2021. Comments and questions can also be provided to staff before the meeting on May 4, 2021 to be considered by Council. Please send your written comments to mrivet@jlrichards.ca referencing "OPA 29"
