Please be advised that the Municipality's Roads and Public Works Department is conducting watermain flow testing this week which includes flushing water from fire hydrants. 

Please take caution in areas where testing is occurring as there may be spray from the fire hydrant and/or water on the roadway.

Today, June 23, is the National Day of Remembrance for Victims of Terrorism. This day was first proclaimed by the Government of Canada in 2005, in memory of those who have lost their lives through acts of terror in Canada and around the globe.

This day was chosen to coincide with the date of the Air India Flight 182 bombing, that occurred on June 23, 1985, and caused the deaths of 329 people.

Today, on National Indigenous Peoples Day, we recognize and celebrate the history, heritage, resilience and diversity of First Nations, Inuit and Métis across Canada. Their fundamental contributions have shaped our past and continue to shape who we are today.
