The Municipality of Mississippi Mills, Thomas Cavanagh Construction Limited and Exact Landscapes Inc. are partnering with Ramsay Creek on beautification efforts in Downtown Almonte.

The Municipality has completed the soil analysis of the garden beds and is ready to proceed with replanting. We are pleased to bring Ramsay Creek on board as a partner. Their work can already be seen throughout downtown in our hanging baskets and plantings at the Downtown Almonte gateway signage.

Final Draft of 2024 Transportation Master Plan Available for Review

The final draft of the 2024 Mississippi Mills Transportation Master Plan will be considered by Council on August 13, 2024.

Under the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment process for Master Plans, the draft plan has been posted for a 30-day public review period.

The plan reflects a proactive and comprehensive approach to planning a multi-modal transportation system that will serve the Municipality through to 2048 and was included as part of the Municipality’s MM2048 initiative.

Free day camps in August in Pakenham and Almonte. Three age groups:

A (ages 4-5) from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
B (ages 6-8) from 12:30 to 2 p.m.
