You are invited to join us at the Almonte Civitan Club next Tuesday evening to celebrate our irreplaceable volunteers. Mississippi Mills Annual Volunteer Appreciation event will be hosted proudly by The Hub, Carebridge, Mississippi Mills and The Almonte Civitan Club, 6:30-8:00pm.  Everyone is welcome, if you are a volunteer, love a volunteer or want to be a volunteer we want to celebrate with you!

Mississippi Mills is undertaking a large project called MM2048 that involves virtually every service and department.  We’re looking at everything from roads to childcare to water and wastewater to recreation to festivals and events to economic development to quality of life and everything in between, all at the same time.

Please be advised that the Pakenham Depot at 580 Barr Side Road will be open this Saturday, April  15th from 8am-4pm. This location will be accepting brush 6” in diameter or less.

FLOOD WARNING issued for Dalhousie Lake and Clyde River

April 8, 2023 MISSISSIPPI AND CARP RIVER WATERSHEDS— The Mississippi Valley Conservation Authority has upgraded its FLOOD WATCH to a FLOOD WARNING for Dalhousie Lake. Levels on the lake have continued to rise as the remainder of the snowmelt enters the watershed. With no rain in the forecast levels are expected to stabilized as soon as runoff rates subside over the next couple of days.
