Mill Street Books, along with the Friends of the Mississippi Mills Public Library, are delighted to welcome Tim Cook to the Almonte Old Town Hall on January 22 at 2pm.

A special Committee of the Whole meeting was held on January 12th, 2023. This is the second of two special budget meetings where Departments present the draft 2023 budget. Presentations from senior staff took place throughout the day for members of Council to consider the various capital and operating budget requests from municipal departments, which on this day, included the Mississippi Mills Public Library, Corporate Services, Clerks, Childcare, Recreation and Economic Development.

Council/ Committee of the Whole Meeting - January 17th, 2023

Council and Committee of the Whole will hold their regular meetings on Tuesday, January 17th, 2023.

This day will also serve as the official launch of the Bicentennial, which gets underway at 5:30pm.
