Press Release - North Lanark Historical Society. As we celebrate the Bicentennial of Mississippi Mills, the North Lanark Historical Society invites you to come back in time to our PIONEER DAY.

Mississippi Mills Council recently proclaimed May 5, 2023, as World Pulmonary Hypertension Day. Pulmonary Hypertension (PH) is a rare but very complex and serious lung disease, which is progressive and potentially fatal.

Council and Committee of the Whole will hold their regular meetings on Tuesday, May 9th, 2023. Regular session is scheduled to start at 6:00 pm, followed by Committee of the Whole.

May 2, 2023 — This FLOOD WARNING statement is an update to the Flood Warning issued for areas along the Lower Ottawa River (Arnprior to Hawkesbury) on April 28th, 2023. Water levels are expected to rise again within the Ottawa River Basin due to significant rainfall received over the past few days.
