New Payment Process for Childcare Services Starts on January 1st

Earlier this year, we began communicating with parents whose children attend our childcare centres, about a shift in our payment process. We are always looking for ways to improve, work more efficiently, and utilize technology to better serve our community. In delivering services, we have a goal of identifying opportunities to be efficient in our operations, and implementing change accordingly; this change is a result of that goal.

Almonte Christmas Night Parade Will Proceed Tonight

The forecasted snow will add an even more magical element to the Almonte Christmas Night Parade, which will go ahead as planned today at 5 p.m.

The Municipality is monitoring the weather advisory in effect and our Public Works crews are prepared and out ensuring our roads and the parade route are ready for the arrival of Santa Claus this evening.

Winter has arrived, please dress accordingly.
