The Mississippi Mills Public Library has established protocols in place for safe curbside pick up. With this in mind they have generously offered to take over as a drop off location for well water testing samples for Mississippi Mills residents.

This has been a hard week. We learned from the Leeds Grenville & Lanark District Health Unit that there is an outbreak of COVID-19 in our community.

As a result of the recent Covid-19 outbreak that has been confirmed in our region, Mississippi Mills is working with the Leeds, Grenville and Lanark Public Health Unit (LGLDHU) on necessary measures to help stop the spread. Due to the high level of community transmission, the Municipality has agreed to close certain public facilities.

Leeds, Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit (LGLDHU) announced a recent wave of confirmed community spread Covid-19 cases in our region, along with at least one confirmed case of a virus variant. The Health Unit has indicated that the COVID-19 infections started with exposure to the COVID-19 virus at a social gathering.

March 2, 2021. The Leeds, Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit has detected a significant increase with 20 people infected with COVID-19 in the past 4 days in and around.

Hazardous Conditions on and around Lakes, Rivers, Streams, and Ponds:. Due to unusually mild weather and increased interest from citizens to get outside to exercise on public lands during the COVID pandemic, the Mississippi Mills Fire Department (MMFD) reminds residents to stay off of lakes, rivers, and ponds as the ice may not be safe.
