Address: 1984 Wolf Grove Rd., Almonte
Since its construction in 1857 by the local farming community, Union Hall has been used continuously as a library, a meeting hall, and a place for worship, family celebrations, memorial services, dances, children’s parties and cultural activities—and it remains a community hub today. With its rustic charm and excellent acoustics, it continues to be a popular venue today. It is located at 1984 Wolf Grove Road, at the corner of Tatlock Road.
The Union Hall Community Centre is a Registered Charity (#131595324RR0001), owned by the community and operated entirely by volunteers. The hall receives financial support from the Municipality of Mississippi Mills, Almonte Community Coordinators (The Hub), and private donors.
NEW: Recent renovations with the help of an Ontario Trillium Foundation grant now allow year-round operation.
