Highlights of the August 10, 2021 Council Meeting
Storm Internet Services provided an update to Council on their fibre internet projects throughout Mississippi Mills. Construction began on July 5th and will continue into early November 2021. Construction began with Ramsay Concession 3C and will then move on to Bowland Road, with first connections from this phase beginning in early August. Five Arches Bridge closure slated for Aug. 10 and 11
Lanark County has retained WSP for Engineering services to conduct a detailed enhanced investigation of the historic Five Arches Bridge in Pakenham and to complete the detail design of the selected rehabilitation strategy.
As part of the enhanced investigation, a full bridge closure will be required to accommodate a bridge deck condition survey on Aug. 10 and 11, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.
