Entering a Float
Pre-registration is not required, however, it's appreciated to let us know in advance to expect you. Please complete the form.
Floats must arrive by 4:30pm at the latest to ensure placement in the parade. Floats are asked to enter from Ottawa Street, proceed down Industrial Drive continue on Industrial Drive toward Appleton Side Road, then turn onto Frank Davis Street.
Floats will line up on the side of the road on Frank Davis Street beginning at Industrial Drive (near Vodkow). Staff and volunteers will be on site to assist with lining up the floats. Floats will be lined up in a single file on a first come, first served basis.
Rules
-
Absolutely no throwing candy or other objects, including flyers, from floats
-
Walking entries should be careful to distance from the spectators
- Lots of Christmas Lights really brighten up floats since it's very dark at this time of year
-
Christmas Music is strongly encouraged
- DO NOT stop on Bridge Street in front of the arena at the end of the parade. To unload float participants, please enter into the arena parking lot. Unloading on Bridge Street is dangerous for children and creates a backlog in the parade.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
