It's time to talk fall programming in the Municipality of Mississippi Mills and there’s no shortage of activities!
Mississippi Mills At a Glance registration and information night returns Wednesday, September 13 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the John Levi Community Centre. This event brings together organizations, clubs and individuals in the community who have programs, activities or services to offer. The public has an opportunity to learn more about everything from Girl Guides, hockey, quilting, dance classes, swimming, choirs, lawn bowling, Scouts, museums, service clubs, and more. This informative night is for all residents, from preschool to seniors and everyone in between.
The Municipality of Mississippi Mills Recreation and Culture staff will also be in attendance on September 13 for those wishing to sign up for fall programming offered at local schools and arenas. See below for a list of Municipally-run 2023 fall programs.
FALL PROGRAMS

Recreational Hockey Program
Location: Stewart Community Centre
When: Saturdays, from September 30, 2023 to March 23, 2024
Times: 9 to 10 a.m. (ages 5 to 6), 10 to 11 a.m. (ages 7 to 8), 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. (ages 9 to 11), 12 to 1 p.m. (ages 12 to 15)
Cost: $155 per child (resident), $175 per child (non-resident), $450 per family (three or more registered family members)
Full equipment is required for this program (no jersey provided)

Time: Mondays - 1 to 4 p.m., Tuesdays - 9 a.m. to noon, Thursdays - 10 to 11:30 a.m.)

Location: Stewart Community Centre (upper hall)
When: Tuesdays and Thursdays, from October 2023 to April 2024
Time: 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.
Cost: $60 for one day a week; $120 for two days a week (paid in advance)
Residents will also have the opportunity to sign up for recreational hockey, yoga and the 5 Span Strong programs on Saturday, September 23 at the Stewart Community Centre in Pakenham from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
