After a fantastic first year, the Municipality of Mississippi Mills is thrilled to bring back our youth summer sports camp for a second year! Designed for campers born between 2014 and 2017 (ages 9–12), the program focuses on fun and active play. All we ask is that participants come ready to learn, try new things, and bring their best attitude each day!

Each day will be filled with a multitude of sporting activities which could include:

Lawn Bowling
Pickleball
Soccer
Soccer Baseball
Tennis
Touch Football
Volleyball
Arm Wrestling
plus, theme days, water fun, dancing, activities and more!

Camp Weeks

July 6 - 10
July 13 - 17
July 20 - 24

August 10 - 14
August 17 - 21

Hours

Camp runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Friday. Early drop off is 8:45 a.m. and late pick up is 4:15 p.m.

Location

The camp is held at the John Levi Community Centre, 182 Bridge Street, Almonte. The camp utilizes recreational facilities in the community centre as well as Gemmill Park and other local facilities.

Cost

The cost for the camp is $200 per week for residents and $225 per week for non-residents.

Registration

Registration will open April 9, 2026 at the MM Community Open House for residents. Non-resident registration will open on April 13. Starting April 10 registrations will be accepted at Almonte Old Town Hall (14 Bridge Street), 2nd floor.

The camp is limited to 30 youth per week so don't delay in registering your child!

Cancellation Policy - full refund, minus $25 cancellation fee, can be provided up to one week prior to the start of the camp (by noon). For example, if the camp starts on July 6th, you can cancel by 12 noon on June 29.

If you're unable to come during office hours, completed registration forms and payment can be placed in the drop box located on the doors closest to the parking lot at Almonte Old Town Hall, 14 Bridge Street.
