A new Lottery License Protocol was accepted by Council on Tuesday night to revise the Municipality's licencing procedures. The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) establishes clear and strict rules for municipalities to issue licences to eligible and charitable organizations.  Previously the Municipality charged an upfront lottery licence fee of 3% based on expected winnings.
