Starting July 1, 2023, your blue box recycling program (and many others across Ontario) will be managed by Circular Materials, a not-for-profit Producer Responsibility Recycling Organization committed to building efficient and effective recycling systems to minimize waste, and ensure materials are reused again and again.
This transition will result in no change to the materials you can recycle or to your current recycling schedule, but it will mean that separate trucks will be used for collecting recyclable materials and garbage. As of July 1, 2023, the Municipality will no longer manage the blue box program and all customer service will be handled by Circular Materials or their delegate.
