The finish line is in sight and the last touches are being put on the Downtown Almonte Revitalization Project. Both Thomas Cavanagh Construction and the Municipality of Mississippi Mills have committed to completing the paving of the Downtown Core by July 28, 2023. Weather dependent, we will meet that timeline!
Thomas Cavanagh Construction Limited will complete the final paving of Mill Street and Little Bridge Street this week. The schedule is as follows:
Thursday, July 27: Paving of Mill Street (Almonte Street to Bridge Street)
Friday, July 28: Paving of Little Bridge Street (Mill Street to Bridge Street)
During this time, a full road closure will be in effect for the streets to be paved. Flag staff will be on site to direct traffic. Sidewalks remain open to pedestrian traffic.
