Want to volunteer with your library?

Mississippi Mills Public Library (MMPL) volunteers expand and enhance public services within our community. As a volunteer you provide important support services to staff and/or work on special projects. You learn more about the library and its place in the community and observe first-hand how the library serves community needs.

Activities are as varied as delivering books to homebound patrons, assisting with seed lending library events, shelf reading, helping with the annual book sale and lots of other fun possibilities. Volunteers must be at least 14 years of age.

If interested, please fill out the online application form here: https://form.jotform.com/233604378034252

After submitting this form, you are included in the Library’s Volunteer List. You will receive emails as new volunteer opportunities become available. You only need to reply to offers if you are interested and, at any time, you can request to be removed from the list.

All activities are supervised by library staff. A Vulnerable Sector Check is not necessary for most activities, and staff will help you obtain the necessary documents only when needed. Please call Berta at 613-256-1037 or email babaroa@mississippimills.ca for more information.

Thank you, Friends of MMPL!
