Flood Warning Statement-Termination

Water levels and flows are returning to normal throughout the watershed.

May 23, 2023 MISSISSIPPI AND CARP RIVER WATERSHEDS— The Mississippi Valley Conservation Authority is TERMINATING the FLOOD WARNING issued May 3rd.  Levels and flows are declining throughout the Mississippi and Carp watersheds. Based on the current weather forecasts, that trend is expected to continue.
 
Levels are slowly returning to seasonal conditions on Dalhousie and Mississippi Lakes. Flows in the Mississippi River are slightly above normal for this time of year and are excepted to return to seasonal conditions in the coming weeks.
 
No further updates to this FLOOD WARNING will be issued.
