May 25, 2022

As a result of the severe windstorm this weekend, much of the municipality remains without power and will be facing significant clean up due to fallen trees and branches. Mississippi Mills Public Works department continues to patrol and assess areas. As roads are cleared for safety by Hydro One, municipal crews will begin clean-up around broken hydro poles. Crews priority will be to ensure streets and sidewalks are safe and passable. When that work is complete they will move on to clearing other Municipal tree damage.

Municipal Office: At the time of this notice hydro is still out at our Municipal office, 3131 Old Perth Rd. We are expecting it to be restored today. Providing power is restored, the Municipal Office will be open tomorrow May 26, 2022.
