Recently the Leeds, Grenville and Lanark Health Unit lifted the Section 22 Class order in Mississippi Mills as the area transitioned into the Yellow – Protect, and as of today, the Red-Control level. With the Class order lifted, the Municipality will be reopening it’s facilities to the public during regular hours of operations starting tomorrow, Tuesday March 23rd , 2021, at 8:30 am

 

The Municipal Office will be available by appointment only for in-person meetings. All other items can be dropped off in the secure drop box located at the back of the building 3131 Old Perth Rd. Residents can also contact staff through email and phone. Water sample drop offs will remain at the Almonte Library, located at 155 High Street, for the time being. The Libraries will also be reopening to the public. To view the library hours of operation please visit the library’s website or Facebook.

 

Almonte Old Town Hall, Almonte Community Centre, and Stewart Community Centre Pakenham will also be open for scheduled events, however the ice surface is no longer available. If you are unsure if you’re event will be running, please contact the Recreation and Culture department at 613-256-1077.

 

The Fire Department and the Roads and Public Works offices remain closed to the public at this time.
